Dr. Bernard Meyerson is an IBM Fellow and Chief Innovation Officer Emeritus at IBM Corporation. He serves as Director of the North American Associates of the STS forum (NAA-STS), playing a key role in fostering transnational dialogue on science and technology. Renowned for pioneering work inventing and then commercializing silicon-germanium semiconductor technology, Dr. Meyerson holds numerous patents and has received global recognition for his innovation and business leadership, including roles shaping IBM's AI strategy. He continues to advise industry and government on future tech policy.

Dr. Jianying Hu

Jianying Hu, Ph.D., is an IBM Fellow, Director of HCLS Research, and Global Science Leader of AI for Healthcare at IBM. Dr. Hu joined IBM in 2003 after working at Bell Labs. She has over 30 years of experience conducting and leading research on machine learning, with recent focus on AI enabled acceleration of scientific discovery in health. Dr. Hu has served on many editorial and advisory boards, and currently serves on the NASEM Committee on Establishing a Framework for Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation in Health and Medicine, and the External Advisory Board of the NIH AIM-AHEAD Program. Dr. Hu is a fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics, International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics, IEEE, and the International Association of Pattern Recognition.

Dr. Thomas Zacharia

Dr. Thomas Zacharia is senior vice president of strategic technology partnerships and public policy for AMD. He leads the global expansion of AMD public/private relationships with governments, NGOs and other organizations to help fast-track the deployment of AMD-powered AI solutions. He is a distinguished industry leader with extensive experience in scientific research, technology development, public policy and strategic public/private partnerships. He has provided expert testimony to US Congress in his previous role as director at Oak Ridge National Lab. Dr. Zacharia holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the Natl Inst. of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, India, an MS in materials science from the Univ. of Mississippi, and a PhD in engineering science from Clarkson Univ. in Potsdam, NY.

Dr. Hugh Thompson

Dr. Herbert Hugh Thompson is a Managing Partner at Crosspoint Capital Partners, Program Committee Chairman of RSA Conference and an Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science Department at Columbia University. Dr. Thompson is a world-renowned expert in information security. He has co-authored three books on the topic including, How to Break Software Security: Effective Techniques for Security Testing (with Dr. James Whittaker, published by Addison-Wesley, 2003), and The Software Vulnerability Guide (with Scott Chase, published by Charles River 2005). He is also the co-author (with Bob Sullivan of NBC News) of a business/psychology book from Penguin titled "The Plateau Effect". In 2006 he was named one of the "Top 5 Most Influential Thinkers in IT Security" by SC Magazine.

Mr. Edward Screven

Mr. Edward Screven is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Architect of Oracle, where he led the company’s enterprise-wide technology strategy for nearly four decades. A key driver of Oracle’s cloud architecture and open source initiatives, he helped position the company to integrate advanced technologies into its global product suite. Mr. Screven championed Oracle’s adoption of AI across infrastructure, business applications, and data platforms, ensuring scalable solutions for enterprise customers. Now serving as a technical adviser, he continues to contribute to Oracle’s long-term vision and represents the company on the Board of Directors of Ampere, a leader in cloud-native processors.

Prof. Peter Norvig

Peter Norvig is a Distinguished Education Fellow at Stanford's Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute and a researcher at Google Inc. Previously, he directed Google's core search algorithms group and Google's Research group. He was head of NASA Ames's Computational Sciences Division, where he served as NASA's senior computer scientist. He has taught at the University of Southern California, Stanford University, and the University of California at Berkeley.

He co-taught an Artificial Intelligence class that enrolled 160,000 students, helping to launch the current wave of massive open online courses. His publications include the books Data Science in Context and Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach, the leading textbook in the field.
